Scope
Hentai.biz is a reference site. Articles describe and discuss copyrighted works (manga titles, anime series, artists, publishers) for commentary and informational purposes, and may include short quotations or thumbnail-scale references that fall under fair use or analogous local exceptions. We do not host scans, raw episodes, or downloadable copies of any work.
If you believe material on this site infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to act for, this page describes how to send a notice. We can only act on material on the hentai.biz domain itself; for content hosted elsewhere, contact that host directly.
Notice of claimed infringement
To be effective, a notice should include the elements described in the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), or the equivalent under your local law. In practice, please include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, for multiple works, a representative list).
- Identification of the material on Hentai.biz that you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it - ideally the full URL of each affected page and the specific section, image, or quotation.
- Your contact information: full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and - under penalty of perjury - that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Send the notice by email, with the subject line "DMCA Notice", to contact@hentai.biz.
What happens after a valid notice
Once we receive a notice that contains the elements above, we review it and, if it appears valid, remove or disable access to the identified material. Where appropriate, we notify the contributor of the affected page so they can respond.
Counter-notice
If you believe material was removed by mistake or as a result of a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice. Please include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and its prior location on the site.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
- Your full legal name, address, telephone number, and email.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice or their agent.
Send counter-notices to the same address: contact@hentai.biz, subject "DMCA Counter-Notice".
Misuse
Sending a notice or counter-notice that contains a material misrepresentation can expose you to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) or equivalent local law. Please make sure of your facts before submitting.
Repeat infringers
The site does not accept user-uploaded media. In the event a contributor or feature is added in the future, the site will terminate access for repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
